The standard 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engines powering the M4 lineup utilize the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology and motorsports-derived components. The standard M4 Coupe continues with 473 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque sent through a six-speed manual gearbox. The M4 Competition Coupe now makes 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque routed through an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission.
At the top of the range, the new M4 Competition xDrive Coupe and Convertible models now produce 523 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. This allows the M4 Competition xDrive Coupe to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds. The M4 Competition xDrive Convertible propels Lakewood drivers from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. An optional M Driver's Package raises the top speed to 180 mph for the Coupe and 174 miles per hour for the Convertible.
New Exterior Lighting and Wheel Designs
The 2025 M4 models feature redesigned LED headlights with a more technical design. New laser-accented LED taillights provide a high-tech look. M forged light alloy wheels are now available in a bright silver finish for a more elegant appearance.
The M4 Competition models also gain new exterior M design graphics for the hood and trunk in High Gloss Black or High Gloss Red. A no-cost steel roof option with a black finish is also available. These changes give the new M4 models a modern and personalized look for North Olmsted drivers.
Upgraded Digital Interior with New Steering Wheels
Inside, the driver-focused cockpit gains the latest BMW Curved Display with iDrive 8.5. This features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen with M-specific graphics and menus. New M Alcantara steering wheel designs add a sporty flair. Touch controls or voice commands now operate automatic climate control. Ambient lighting and other features provide a premium environment around the Strongsville area.
