The 2014 BMW M5 and M6 are vehicles that don't need to do a lot to get your excitement up. Each model possesses a tremendous amount of power, and a unique style that draws in many drivers from the greater Cleveland area. So, how could these BMW performance cars get any better? By adding a new package to the list of options.

The tentatively titled Competition package will boast 20-inch alloy wheels, and four black-finished exhaust pipes. There's also a stiffer suspension, a robust exhaust, and responsive steering.  Of course, there's the unmistakable new BMW look on the M5, M6, and M6 Gran Coupe, too.

Where the Competition package really makes the difference is under the hood. It is reportedly going to give the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 a jump of 15 additional horsepower; going from the already ample 560 hp to 575 ponies. The M5 and M6 models not have a slightly quicker zero-to-sixty sprint time, but we're sure you'll feel the difference. Also, the top speed of the vehicle will remain the same: just 190 miles per hour.

The release of the 2014 BMW M5 and BMW M6 are scheduled to take place in the next couple of months. We'll have plenty more details for you by then, so continue to read up on the Cleveland blog for information.
