When you want to be the best at something, you know that means scoping out the competition. That's why it comes as no shock to us to learn that the BMW 4 Series Coupe was recently spied side-by-side with the Audi A5.

To be more specific, a series of photos were recently snapped of the latest prototype of the forthcoming 4 Series, and it was seen being sized up against the four-ringed coupe. No video was shot of either vehicle in action, but if we had to put our money on one outperforming the other, we'd go with the 4 Series coming out on top.

Of course, drivers from the greater Cleveland area would expect a new BMW dealership to choose the 4 Series. That's why we have some reasoning to back up our assertion.

When it arrives at 6976 Pearl Road in Middleburg Heights, OH, the 4 Series Coupe is expected to carry the same engine range as the current BMW 3 Series. This means we can expect a healthy selection of turbocharged 4- and 6-cylinder options to choose from. And that's just at the very least. Some speculate that we could see a 440i model, which would likely use the same engine as the 640i: a 3.0-liter turbo.

That, however, is pure speculation on our part. Whatever kind of powertrain options the BMW 4 Series offers, you can count on a stellar driving experience. That said, if you're interested in learning more, we highly suggest staying tuned to our BMW blog. The moment production details are released regarding the BMW 4 Series, we'll relay them to you here.
