While the new i3 won't arrive in our Middleburg Heights, OH showroom until the second quarters of 2014, our excitement can't be contained, and we bet yours won't either when we tell you about what the new model has to offer.
With the addition of this eco-friendly model to the new BMW lineup, drivers will be able to contribute to global consciousness by owning a sustainable vehicle, while also saving money as gas prices inevitably rise.
The all-electric i3 is constructed exclusively from renewable and recyclable resources, like its 100 percent aluminum lithium-ion battery, which perfectly lends itself to the vehicle's ultramodern appearance. Of course the Bavarian automaker never withholds its legendary luxurious appeal and includes many of the same lavish, yet thrilling features found on other BMW models, with the added zero-emissions perk.
The i3 is being hailed at the future of urban mobility thanks to its diminutive structure, which will make easier to handle on the streets alongside of its finely-tuned turning circle. Another advantage to city drivers of the i3 is the vehicle's "Slide Through Experience" feature, which lets the driver exist from the passenger side if they've parked on a busy street, to avoid being forced to get out on the side. Of course yet another advantage is the i3's completely electric powertrain, which will eliminate the cost and time spent at the gas pump.
